About

"Give Me the Child" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Henry J. Waternoose III in the 2001 animated Pixar film Monsters, Inc. The line has been included in an image macro series featuring the character Sulley holding the character Boo.

Origin

On November 2nd, 2001, the film Monsters, Inc was released in the United States.[1] In the film, the character Sulley attempts to flee the Henry J. Waternoose (voiced by John Goodman and James Coburn, respectively), who wants to return the human character Boo (clip below).


On October 1st, 2018, Memedroid[2] user posted the image with the caption, "cuando el papá de tu novia se entera de que eres mayor y se ven a escondidas." (translation: "When your girlfriend’s dad finds out that you’re older and they sneak up") The post received more than 1,800 points (98% upvoted) in less than two years (shown below).
