Give Me One Margarita I'mma Open My Legs or the One Margarita TikTok Song is a rap song remixing a freestyle verse by actress and podcaster Angel Laketa Moore with a viral video of Sister Cindy preaching at LSU against promiscuity, saying, "If you buy her one margarita she will spread her legs." Laketa posted a video freestyling a verse after watching the video in late May 2023, which was then remixed by a TikToker in the following days, becoming a viral original sound and lip-dub trend.

On May 25th, 2023, YouTuber^[1] That Chick Angel TV, the channel for actress and podcaster Angel Laketa Moore, posted a Short of Angel watching a clip of Sister Cindy, a confrontational evangelist known for attending universities and preaching against promiscuity to students, where she says to a crowd, "If you buy her one margarita she will spread her legs." Angel says about the clip, "This sounds like a rap song," then freestyles a rap verse referencing the video (shown below). The video gained over 20,000 views in a week and was also posted to her TikTok^[2] page, @thatchickangeltv, garnering over 570,000 views in the same span of time.

Later that day, TIkToker^[3] @casadimusic posted a remix of the freestyle, garnering over 6.9 million views in a week (shown below, left). On May 26th, the same TIkToker^[4] posted another remix of the song, garnering over 2 million views in six days (shown below, right).

Despite the first remix by @casadimusic gaining more views, the second video became a popular original sound over the course of May 2023. Some of the most popular videos are dance videos and lip dubs where users lip dub to the song while drinking margaritas. On May 26th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @bucksamillion__ posted a video dancing to the song that gained over 4 million views in six days (shown below).

On May 28th, TikToker^[6] @hotbitch7777 posted a video where she lip dubs to the song with friends while drinking, garnering over 7.6 million views in four days (shown below, left). On the same day, Sister Cindy posted a video to TikTok^[7] announcing she'd be releasing a version of the song. On May 30th, TikToker^[8] @didntmakethecut0 posted a similar video, garnering over 11.7 million views in two days (shown below, right).

That day, the song was officially released on Spotify,^[9] garnering over 2.1 million plays in three weeks. On June 4th, musical artist Lizzo posted a video set to the song to TikTok,^[10] writing in the description "the song of the summer😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨," garnering over 1.1 million views in two weeks (shown below).
