Girth control is often added in overlay text jokes and videos of men replicating American rapper Saucy Santana clips.

Origin

On April 25th, 2025, TikTok^[1] user @roohankishibe posted one of the earliest mentions of the slang "girth control," adding the term in the overlay text, "POV: She's asking where I'm taking her for dinner but she hasn't even paid for my Girth Control." The clip (seen below) received more than 363,000 plays and 77,000 likes in a month.

Spread

The slang term was steadily popularized on TikTok over the next few weeks, mostly used in the Sassy Man Apocalypse" trend.

For instance, on April 29th, 2025, TikTok^[2] user @bryvswrld uploaded a video with the text caption, "When she think she getting raw dih without paying for my girth control or plan D." The video (seen below) amassed over 757,000 plays and 145,000 likes in a month.

On May 22nd, 2025, TikTok^[3] user @samwaldmf posted a Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video, titled "GRWM to go on girth control," referencing the slang. The post (seen below) received roughly 6,000 plays and 3,700 likes in a week.
