On October 4th, 2021, TikToker^[1] @koozebane posted a video where he dances and uses a DJ Mixer to a mashup of Psy's 2012 hit "Gangnam Style"^[2] and Steve Lacy's 2019 song "N Side,"^[3] gaining over 4.1 million views in five months (shown below).

In early 2022, the Original Sound became increasingly popularized on TikTok in videos where users reveal shocking and dark twists to stories or events from their lives using the Image Spin filter.
