Video uploads of a young boy accusing another of being a "gaddar" or traitor had been making the rounds on Whatsapp and YouTube since at least March 12th, with the earliest known upload of the video being posted on March 12, 2023 by YouTuber^[1] Radhika Devi, gathering over 23,000 views and 1,000 likes in a month (seen below).

On April 3rd, 2023, Redditor^[2] /u/Designer_Lawyer2369 posted a version of the meme to /r/IndianDankMemes, gathering over 1,800 upvotes in ten days (seen below). The same user posted a similar video on April 4th, gathering over 900 upvotes in eight days.^[3]

On April 4th, Twitter^[4] user @theusoo_ posted a version of the meme that gathered over 200 likes in ten days (seen below).
