G-Force Training Video, also known as the G-Force Test Video, G-Force Meme or G-Force Pilot Mog, refers to a viral video of a man undergoing centrifuge training and passing out as his face distorts and his skin pulls back onto his face. The original video was taken in 2007 and published to YouTube soon after. In 2023, the video, among other g-force training videos, went viral on TikTok where the man was said to be "edging" across many videos. TikTokers then reversed the video, likening the man to the slang term "mog."

Origin

On October 20th, 2009, YouTuber^[1] Blue Fox Enterprises posted a video of himself undergoing centrifuge training at Brooks City Base, Texas, where he blacked out when reaching 9G of g-force. The video received roughly 5.2 million views and 40,000 likes in 14 years (shown below).

Spread

In 2020, the video was resurfaced online across multiple social media platforms. For instance, on November 19th, 2020, Reddit unnaturalorder posted the video to /r/Damnthatsinteresting,^[2] gaining over 48,200 upvotes in three years. On December 17th, 2020, YouTuber^[3] miltos X posted a Try Not to Laugh video with the g-force training video, received over 75,400 views in three years.

On August 29th, 2023, the video was reposted by TikToker^[4] @armedforceshub, gaining roughly 644,800 plays and 40,700 likes in three months.

A few months later, on October 11th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @owenbestw posted the video, as well as three similar ones, with the caption, "Who's getting the best head?" earning roughly 3.8 million plays and 463,900 likes in one month (shown below, left).

Soon after, on October 17th, 2023, TikToker^[6] @slideshows4eva used the video for an Edging In the Back of Class meme, gaining over 3.6 million plays and 742,200 likes in one month (shown below, right).

G-Force Mog

Meme creators on TikTok started to use a reversed version of the video in November 2023, likening the man to the slang term "mog" (a Looksmaxxing term) due to his face becoming normal in the reverse as well as him seemingly shouting the word "mog" when reversed.

The first known creator to reverse the video was TikToker^[7] @popeyezchickensandwich on November 7th, 2023, who used the When You Gotta Lock In phrase, gaining roughly 6.8 million plays and 1.3 million likes in six days (shown below, left).

Going into November 2023, creators started to recreate the video in real life. The first to do so was Spanish-speaking TikToker^[8] @keksu_aa2 on November 9th, who referenced the term "mewing," gaining roughly 299,000 plays and 33,900 likes in four days (shown below, right).
