Microsoft / Fully Erect is a series of exploitable images in which one implies a certain image makes their penis flaccid by placing it next to the Microsoft logo, while another picture makes their penis erect by placing that image next to the logo for tent brand Fully Erect.

Origin

The "Fully Erect" logo is taken from a post in /r/funny[7] showing the tent titled Went out to find a tent. Found the perfect one" that gained over 2,200 pointes (shown below).


On July 25th, 2017, Redditor pseudocilin posted the first variation to /r/dankmemes.[1] The post featured Amy Schumer next to the Microsoft logo and model Amanda Cerny next to the Fully Erect logo. The post gained 590 points (shown below).

Spread

The post began to spread outside of Reddit in the following days. On July 26th, it was reposted to the Facebook page Meme Kings INC,[2] where it gained over 700 likes. On January 28th, Instagram page dankflavouredmemes[3] posted it, gaining over 18,000 likes. However, the image did not become an exploitable until November of 2017. On November 10th, user pseudocilin[4] posted the image with Stefán Stefánsson next to "Fully Erect," gaining over 4,200 upvotes (shown below).


Over the following few days, the format grew popular on the subreddit. Some of the most popular posts include a November 11th post by Vuynjou[5] featuring a Roblox character gained over 3,500 upvotes (shown below, left). An edit featuring Pickle Rick posted by CheeseApocalypse3[6] gained over 2,300 points (shown below, right).
