Fuck You Know About This Orb refers to a series of caption memes and redraws based on a photograph of a man holding a large yellow round bottle towards the camera and while flipping the camera off. Posted in late September 2024, the exploitable photo achieved virality as the source material for memes in early October of that year, with creators replacing or altering the man and object he's holding in the original.

Origin

On September 23rd, 2024, X^[1] / Twitter user @wobowobowobo posted a photograph of himself holding a large yellow ball-shaped bottle of Chili Mango BuzzBallz Biggies while making a middle-finger gesture at the camera, captioned, "fuck you know about this." The post (shown below) garnered over 780 reposts and 5,500 likes in three weeks.

On September 24th, X^[2] user @dasneris posted the earliest found artwork based on the image, a fan art piece that received over 10 reposts and 210 likes in three weeks (shown below).

Spread

The image did not see further use in memes until on October 4th, 2024, X^[3] user @Egocider posted a redraw of the image featuring their OC character. The post (shown below) received over 460 reposts and 6,400 likes in one week.

Later on October 4th, X^[4] user @charborgg posted an edit of the photograph, which turned @wabowabowabo into a wizard and replaced the alcoholic beverage with a bottle of poison. The post (shown below) received over 370 upvotes and 4,500 likes in one week.

In the following week, the photograph achieved viral popularity on X / Twitter, with users redrawing it and captioning it with humorous references to video games as the meme format spread.

For example, on October 7th, 2024, X^[5] user @6ARKS posted a caption meme referencing the Overwatch character Zenyatta, which gained over 2,600 reposts and 28,000 likes in four days (shown below).
