FreeMelania and #SaveMelania are hashtags often accompanied by jokes that Donald Trump's wife Melania is a prisoner that is in need of being saved from her husband.
Origin
During the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20th, 2017, Melania Trump was filmed briefly smiling at her husband before making what appeared to be a frown immediately after he turned away (re-upload shown below). Following the ceremony, a video clip of the moment began circulating online, with many speculating that Melania Trump was unhappy in her marriage.

The following day, Twitter user @natalieroth[1] tweeted the hashtag "#SaveMelania" along with a photograph of a Women's March protest sign with the words "Melania Blink For Help" written on the back (shown below). On January 23rd, Twitter user @SuttonOfficial[3] tweeted the hashtag "#FreeMelania" along with a photograph of Melania Trump greeting Michelle Obama with a box containing the word "Help" (shown below, right).
That day, the Yes It's Funny YouTube channel posted an edited video of Melania Trump handing a gift to Michelle Obama, which contains a cake with the words "Help Save Me" written in frosting (shown below). Meanwhile, a GIF of the video was submitted to /r/gifs,[2] where it gathered upwards of 61,000 votes (74% upvoted) and 2,000 comments within 48 hours.
On January 24th, Twitter user @Istanbul_Themes posted the clip of Melania Trump frowning at her husband's inuaguration with the caption "#FreeMelania Blink twice if you want us to save you" shown below.
