Altered lyrics appear on the screen as the song plays, changing the names to fit the shown characters. The video gained over 5,900 views in a week and is the earliest known version of the trend.

The trend continued to spread over the following days. For example, on August 15th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @bpdpearl posted a version of the trend featuring George Cooper (Lance Barber) from the TV series Young Sheldon, garnering over 80,000 views in a week.
