The day following the post in /r/joinsquad, a post praising it as a potential meme format appeared in /r/MemeEconomy,^[2] gaining over 320 upvotes (shown below, left). In the thread on the post, user mirowen submitted a template for the meme (shown below, right).

On the 21st, the format began trending on /r/dankmemes. Popular posts include an edit which referenced the Miss Me With That Gay Shit meme, gaining over 8,900 upvotes (shown below, left). Another post representing the spray which comes when peeing after sex gained over 1,400 upvotes (shown below, right).
