Filling My PC with Beans is a viral video featuring a prank in which a man pours several cans of black beans into a computer tower and invites a repairman to attempt to fix it.
Origin
On June 15th, 2020, YouTuber Vlog Creations posted the video "Filling My PC with Beans and Hiring a Repair Man to Fix it." The video received more than 24 million views, 132,000 likes and 2,100 dislikes in less than two weeks (shown below).
Spread
Several days later, on June 21st, 2020, Ross from Vlog Creations shared the video on Twitter and Instagram.[1] The Twitter post, an isolated clip from the video, received more than 7.1 million views, 382,000 likes and 100,000 retweets in less than three days (shown below).
People reacted to the video positively, focusing on specific moments in the video and isolating them. For example, that day, Twitter user @CreationsRoss tweeted a clip of the repairman saying "This is food. This is beans." the tweet received more than 171,000 views, 7,400 likes and 800 retweets (shown below).
