FBI Van Groyper Brainwashing Wojak or Glowie Groyper Brainwash is an exploitable meme format of a glowie Groyper in an FBI van beaming information into a Wojak's brain to brainwash them. The image was first posted online as early as February 2023 to Apina.biz and garnered viral spread over the following years, becoming more prevalent as the subject of edits around July 2025 as people edited the format to show the character beaming different ideas and concepts into the Wojak's head.

Origin

On February 13th, 2023, an image was uploaded to Apina.biz^[1] showing a glowie Groyper in black sunglasses and a suit, meant to look like a government intelligence agent, sitting in a van marked with the Suojelupoliisi logo, which is the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service. The Groyper is shooting a red beam into a Wojak's brain from the street below his window. This is the earliest known upload of the meme.

Spread

The meme started to spread in 2024. For example, on September 27th, 2024, it was posted to the /r/SaudiLounge^[2] subreddit, garnering roughly four upvotes in a year.

On July 2nd, 2025, X^[3] user @WokeBeyond posted an edit of the meme that replaces the text on the van to read, "Interest in NYC mayoral elections and British music fests," referencing the online virality of the New York City election and its candidates, including Zohran Mamdani, that month, suggesting it is brainwashing, garnering over 3,700 likes in a week.

The meme was reposted to the /r/redscarepod^[4] subreddit that day, garnering over 1,000 upvotes in the same span of time.

That same day, the woke_beyond Instagram^[5] page shared another edit of the meme in which the van reads "autism," garnering over 740 likes in a week. The meme was reposted by Instagram^[6] user dreamersofthenewaion that day, garnering over 2,400 likes in the same span of time.

On July 3rd, 2025, it was reposted by X^[7] user @eternalclassic_, garnering over 9,000 likes in six days.

On July 7th, the throwingfits Instagram^[8] account posted a version in which the van reads, "This purchase will solve all your problems," garnering over 4,500 likes in two days.

On July 9th, 2025, X^[9] user @escapefrommelos posted an edit where the van reads "stupid tattoo ideas" next to an image of a woman with multiple tattoos on her body, garnering over 2,000 likes in under a day. It was reposted by X^[10] user @TheRoyalSerf that same day, garnering over 30,000 likes in under a day.
