About
Fahh or Faaahhh is a sound effect meme of YouTuber and Twitch streamer Taileons shouting what sounds like "Fahh!" Taileons recorded the sound effect sometime in 2024 and regularly used it in his content, including his TikTok videos, throughout 2024 and 2025. In late August through September 2025, the sound effect went viral on TikTok as the subject of memes, including accuracy reenactments and edits. The sound also inspired image macros and reaction images, largely shared in the comment sections of TikTok videos, which show characters saying "Fahh," often while dying.
Origin
It is unclear when exactly Taileons first used and recorded the "fahh" sound effect. On July 7th, 2025, TikToker[1] @premiumtai posted a video of Taileons scrolling through videos on his phone, starting with what appears to be the original recording of him making the noise, which seems to derive from him saying, "fuck," in an exaggerated manner, garnering over 1.6 million views in two months.
In a video about the sound effect's origins posted to the @taileonn TikTok[2] on September 8th, 2025, with over 4 million views, Taileons claims he recorded it in 2024. The sound effect can be found throughout his 2025 content.
