On October 20th, 2019, Redditor [1] hishon01 shared an image of a U.S. army soldier saluting while skydiving with the caption "me: *bites into buger* / everything on the opposite end of the burger." Within 24 hours, the post received more than 128,000 points (95% upvoted) and 790 comments (shown below).

That day, jokes about this situation continued to spread on Reddit. For example, Redditor[2] godumbledork shared a version using a screenshot from the film Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith. The post received more than 45,000 points (93% upvoted) and 160 comments in 24 hours (shown below, left). Redditor[3] blavkout shared a variation that featured the Ight Imma Head Out meme.
