Everyone I've Got Some Lip Balm refers to a viral TikTok video posted by British TikToker Kay Donnelly (@kaydonnelly2) in early 2023 that shows her daughter Tina with lip balm on her finger saying, "Everyone I've got some lip balm," in a British accent. After the wholesome video went viral, others on the platform made fan edits of her or used the soundbite in other memes.

Origin

On April 11th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @kaydonnelly2 uploaded a video that showed her and her toddler-age daughter Tina getting ready for the day with beauty supplies. At the video's 1:07-minute mark, Kay asked Tina, "Is there anything you wanna tell everyone?" to which she said, "Everyone I've got some lip balm," showing the camera a dab of lip balm on her finger. Over the course of three weeks, the video gained roughly 3.4 million plays and 506,900 likes (shown below).

The short clip from @kaydonnelly2's TikTok was first used in a variant video on April 15th, 2023, posted by TikToker^[2] @the_0ne_0nly0. The video started with a screen recording of a since-deleted TikTok from a deactivated user named @berryavufam123 in which @berryavufam123 was crying because "my lip balm is all gone." TikToker^[2] @the_0ne_0nly0 then played Tina saying, "Everyone I've got some lip balm," to make fun of the crying girl, gaining roughly 1.5 million plays and 154,900 likes in three weeks (shown below).

Going into late April 2023, more videos followed that used Tina's soundbite. For instance, a copycat video of TikToker^[2] @the_0ne_0nly0's video was posted by TikToker^[3] @mae..editz on April 23rd, 2023, gaining roughly 5.7 million plays and 1 million likes in 11 days (shown below, left). On April 24th, 2023, TikToker^[4] @gl4m.em3l1a_ uploaded a version of the video that repeated and slowed down over time, gaining roughly 370,700 plays and 18,500 likes in 10 days (shown below, right).

The original video continued to gain notoriety going into May 2023 as it accumulated more viral videos and re-edits on TikTok.^[5]^[6]
