The Cookie Files is a series of leaked DMs allegedly sent by content creator and TikToker Cookie King to influencer Lily Ella, leaked by Ella in mid-December 2025. Ella leaked the messages in a video in which she accuses Cookie of "love bombing" her (slang for when someone attempts to win over a person through excessive acts of attention and affection), manipulating her and leading her on. The leaks resulted in mixed reactions and memes, with many defending Cookie and claiming that the accusations weren't that bad, while others defended Ella.

Lily Ella's Allegations

On December 12th, 2025, TikToker^[1] Lily Ella (@lilyellaa) posted a video in which she shares DMs allegedly between herself and content creator Cookie King, known for his brainrot and comedy videos, garnering over 416,000 views in three days.

In the video, Ella explains how she met Cookie, claiming she reached out to him over DM after finding his account and thinking he was cute. She claims that their relationship evolved "fast." She shows a host of DMs of Cookie purportedly sending her loving messages, saying that he made her believe she was the only one he was talking to. Some of the messages are sexually charged. She also claims that Cookie was seeing other girls and was lying to her.

Ella then says that Cookie started making videos with other TikTok-famous girls, and it upset her. He told her that it was just for content. Ella and Cookie started Facetiming every day and very regularly messaging, eventually planning a trip for her to visit Cookie.

Then, one night, Cookie admitted to Ella, while drunk on a call, that he had hooked up with another girl. He then allegedly started making himself the victim in the situation and threatened to take his own life if she ignored him. She says that he was manipulating him.

Ella says that she ended up apologizing to Cookie because he had manipulated her so hard. One night, he allegedly started ranting to her about women and his problems with women to a degree that seemed weird to her. Cookie purportedly continued making promises and "love bombing" Ella as his partying continued.

At one point, Ella said she flew from London to California, and Cookie was meant to pick her up from the airport. Ella then saw texts between Cookie and content creator Clavicular, where Cookie claims that he didn't want to pick her up because it was too far. She took an Uber to her hotel. When she finally got there, Cookie didn't make an effort to do any of the things he told her that he wanted to do in the text messages and instead slept late every day.

As Cookie continued to refuse to do anything with Ella, she asked him for a ticket home. She says they went shopping once, hung out in her hotel and went to the movies, but that was it. Cookie continued to tell her how much he loved her.

Cookie became more distant and only started messaging her when he was "drunk, alone or asking for intimate pictures." She then says that instead of love bombing her, Cookie started "breadcrumbing" her to try and keep her hooked on him.

Ella says that she ultimately cut it off and that she fell into a deep depression because she felt so used by Cookie.

Online Reactions

The so-called "Cookie Files" inspired a lot of reactions on TikTok after they were shared in mid-December 2025, including memes supporting Cookie King, while others supported Lily Ella.

On December 14th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @denfourpointzero posted a video where he begins by saying he "doesn't give a fuck" about the allegations. He admits that some of the messages sent by Cookie are bad, but suggests that many "down bad" men have sent similar messages to women. The video gained over 1.1 million views in a day.

On the same day, TikToker^[3] @zaxor3.0 posted an edit of Ella's video, writing in the description, "and so the cookie crumbles again," garnering over 1.9 million views in a day.

Also on December 14th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @hoopervalley8, or H00pify, posted a video reacting to the leaks, suggesting that more people would be on her side if she was more selective with the DMs she released, rather than dumping messages that were irrelevant to the situation, garnering over 284,000 views in under 24 hours.
