Overview
Taco Truck Tammy is a nickname given to a Dallas, Texas woman after she threatened to call United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) on the employees of a taco truck parked near her house. After a video of the incident circulated online, the woman was mocked and criticized for her comments, specifically for the racist assumption that the proprietors of a taco truck are not U.S. citizens. The situation drew comparisons to other White Cop-Caller Nicknames, such as BBQ Becky, in which white people have threatened to call authorities on persons of color for existing in public spaces.
