Overview
SkyeTheFireFox vs. bodittle refers to an online feud between trans furry and Twitter / X user Skye the Fire Fox (@SkyeTheFireFox) and conservative YouTube prankster bodittle who, in June 2024, posted a video called "The Police Forced Me To Leave Nashville Pride" that featured an interview with SkyeTheFireFox at a LGBTQ+ Pride Month celebration in Nashville, Tennessee. SkyeTheFireFox is seen wearing a fox (or wolf) furry mask and a sports jersey that says "Trans" and is colored blue, pink and white like the transgender flag. The YouTubers asked SkyeTheFireFox about Juneteenth, reparations and the Hawk Tuah Girl. SkyeTheFireFox found out about the video after it was posted and uploaded the clip on X where users shared viral reactions and memes, predominantly labeling the prank attempt cringe and unfunny. SkyeTheFireFox and bodittle then exchanged viral posts in late June 2024.
Background
On June 27th, 2024, YouTuber[1] bodittle posted a video called "The Police Forced me to Leave Nashville Pride" in which he was interviewing people at the Nashville, Tennessee LGBTQ+ Pride Month parade, gaining over 30,000 views and 1,700 likes in four days (shown below).
Within the video's first minute, the YouTuber and his friend approach a fox furry wearing a transgender flag-colored shirt resembling a sports jersey. The YouTuber asked the furry, "Do you support Juneteenth?" and asked them if they could pay reparations to their Black cameraman. The YouTubers also brought up the Hawk Tuah Girl meme that was prominent online at the time.
On June 28th, 2024, X[2] user @SkyeTheFireFox posted the abovementioned clip, writing, "I was featured on a conservative prankster’s youtube channel LMAO😭," earning over 5.5 million views and 52,000 likes in three days (shown below).
Online Reactions
The abovementioned tweet received viral replies and quotes in late June 2024. For instance, on June 28th, 2024, X[3] user @TheOneCode_ replied, "They stretched on for too long and seem awkward. Completely missed the point of these channels and didn't edit out empty space. Made you seem chill though," receiving over 21,000 likes in four days (shown below, left).
On June 29th, X[4] user @rad_dude124 posted a quote with a similar statement, noting, "the person being interviewed isn’t one of those 'screaming SJW' types these people prey on," gaining over 76,000 likes in three days (shown below, right).
On July 1st, 2024, X[5] user @copkiller1999 posted fan art of SkyeTheFireFox using the Jimmy Flipping Off Tracy meme template, gaining over 600 likes in less than a day (shown below).

bodittle's Response
On June 30th, 2024, bodittle quoted[6] SkyeTheFireFox's viral tweet with his account @dittletv, writing, "Furries continue to hate on me. I don’t know why." The quote received over 100 likes in a day (shown below).
SkyeTheFireFox then quoted[7] the abovementioned post later on June 30th, writing, "take me out your dog shit thumbnail," receiving over 68,000 likes in a day (shown below).
