Overview

Rubi Rose's Stalker Brandon or Rubi Rose's #1 Spender Brandon is a tattoo artist known as Brandon who went viral in December 2023 for allegedly spending over $60,000 on Rubi Rose's OnlyFans account in a single month. Brandon went viral after Rose posted a selfie with him to X (Twitter), inspiring memes and reactions, with some spreading false rumors that he appeared on an episode of MTV's True Life years prior for being addicted to adult content and that he was a crypto millionaire. Later that month, Brandon revealed on the No Jumper podcast that the photo was a marketing hoax.

History

On December 1st, 2023, X[1] user and OnlyFans creator @RubiRose posted two photos: one of herself posing with a bearded man named Brandon and another showing his OnlyFans account and how much he spent on Rose's content, showing a total of $62,321.70 U.S. The post gained over 105,000 likes in two weeks (shown below). On December 2nd, Brandon reposted the photo to his Instagram[2] account, @1of1spender, writing, "It’s more like $76,526," garnering over 300 likes in two weeks.

On December 5th, Rose made another post to X[3] sharing a video recording of a string of text messages from a contact named "Brandon Weird OF Fan" professing his love for Rose and a video of a Rubi Rose tattoo purportedly on the back of the man's leg, writing, "Tat my face on u so i know it’s real (shown below). Many assumed that this was from the same fan. The post gained over 62,000 likes in a week.

Later that day, Redditor /u/Cold_Chemical5151 posted screenshots of the individual texts to /r/facepalm,[4] writing, "This is the guy who spent over $60k on Rubi Rose’s OF. Apparently she had enough and revealed the chats. He needs serious help," garnering over 30,000 upvotes in a week (shown below, click to expand).

Rumors also started spreading that Brandon appeared in an episode of MTV's True Life back in 2009, where they documented him as an adult content addict. Complex[5] reported on the rumors that day (clip from the episode purportedly featuring Brandon shown below).

No Jumper Interview

On December 12th, 2023, Brandon appeared on the No Jumper podcast on YouTube.[6] At the start of the interview, he and the host, Adam22, discuss how they previously knew each other because Brandon managed a tattoo shop and did a "lean dab" once in Adam's presence. Around the 15:00 mark, Brandon reveals that he never bought any of Rubi Rose's OnlyFans content and that the whole event was a hoax.

Brandon explains that he was paid for the photo with Rose but didn't know what it was for, figuring it was for promo. He says they vaguely let him know that he was going to be portrayed as one of her big spenders, saying he didn't expect the story to get so big. He claims the account shown in the photo is real and belongs to a real Rubi Rose spender, but it's not him. He denies the rumors that he's a "Bitcoin billionaire" and that he was ever on True Life. He confirms that he did get the Rubi Rose tattoo on the back of his leg after her marketing team paid him to get it. He also explains that he was getting "hate" online for the marketing scheme, expressing discomfort with all the narratives swirling online about him.

Brandon says Rose was "cool" when he met her then denies writing the text messages leaked by Rose. He then says he has never bought content on OnlyFans in his life. Brandon says he decided to reveal it was a hoax after contacting Rose's marketing team asking for compensation and claiming he "wasn't benefiting" from the story and they told him to just let it die down, then he could do a podcast.
