Overview
The Raja Jackson Syko Stu Wrestling Incident on Kick refers to a late 2025 controversy and viral video of amateur MMA fighter Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC fighter Rampage Jackson, assaulting a pro wrestler, Syko Stu (Psycho Stu), real name Stuart Smith, during a Kick livestream at a wrestling event hosted by Knokx Pro Entertainment in LA.
At the event in late August 2025, Raja Jackson body slammed Syko Stu and then proceeded to punch him in the head over 20 times. The attack left Syko Stu unconscious, and he was then hospitalized in an intensive care unit (ICU). He was reportedly in critical but stable condition a day later. Raja Jackson's outburst and the various clips of it sparked viral discourse on social media platforms as it spread online. Many lambasted Jackson's display of force and called for his arrest, with many claiming it was attempted murder or premeditated. Earlier in the Kick stream, Syko Stu, while perceivably playing his character as the heel (a wrestler who portrays a villain), notably smashed a beer can on Jackson's head against his own hand, which led to Jackson becoming enraged. As part of the wrestling match that night, Jackson was purportedly invited by one of the event's organizers, and he was supposed to come into the ring to participate in the mock fight — though the real attack was entirely unplanned and unexpected by participants.
Background
On August 23rd, 2025, Raja Jackson, the son of former MMA fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, went live on Kick[2] on his channel Rajaplus, which has since been banned as of writing, at a Knokx Pro Entertainment wrestling event in Los Angeles, California.[21]
The full stream was uploaded to YouTube [1] by the channel tikkykick, gaining over 362,500 views in a day.
At the stream's 10:26-minute mark, a pro wrestler named Syko Stu approached Jackson while he was talking to some of the other wrestlers outside the venue, who were seemingly getting into character. Syko Stu, as his character playing the heel, instigated a feud with Jackson as he was being introduced, notably after he smashed an empty beer can on Jackson's head (against his own hand instead of directly on Jackson's head).
The incident diffused after Raja Jackson initially appeared aggressive and began moving toward Syko Stu following the can smash bit, and then at the 13:03-minute mark, an unnamed man told Jackson, "You know what's a good thing about this? Now I can make it something 'cause I'm gonna have you run in and fuck that motherfucker up on the mat. You ready for that?" Jackson agreed to the offer.
Shortly after this, Syko Stu can be seen and heard formally apologizing to Raja Jackson for the fake can smash, with Jackson shaking his hand and appearing to accept the apology.
Video of Fight and Aftermath
At the Kick livestream's 1:40:48-minute mark,[3] Raja Jackson says that he's "not gonna fake" and that they "don't want him in there" because of that.
Then, at the stream's 1:42:08-minute mark,[4] Jackson climbs under the ropes, picks up Syko Stu, who initially appears not to resist, and body slams him. He then straddles and punches Syko Stu over 20 times in the head while he's seemingly unconscious.
At first, it appears that other wrestlers, the referee and attendees think the scuffle is part of the show, since Raja Jackson was purportedly supposed to take part in the match, but then many of the other wrestlers and organizers begin to realize the hits are real. As this occurs, the other participants attempt to separate Jackson from Syko Stu, who continues fighting them and trying to get back to Stu until he's ultimately restrained in the arena.
The clip was posted by X[5] user @clippedszn on August 24th, 2025, receiving over 45.6 million views and 97,000 likes in a day.
After the altercation with Syko Stu and the ensuing scuffle with other participants and wrestlers, Raja Jackson can be seen still live on the Kick stream exiting the venue and walking down the sidewalk outside with his cameraman toward their car. Jackson discusses his reasoning for the attack during this part, saying he's "going to stand up for himself" because he's tired of people playing with him. Another wrestler follows him and attempts to stop him, purportedly to stall until the police arrive, but the cameraman pushes Jackson toward the car until the two leave and the stream ends.
The clip was uploaded in a video by YouTuber mand on August 24th, 2025, receiving over 1 million views, 27,000 likes and 16,800 comments in a day.
Developments
Syko Stu was taken to the hospital and put in an intensive care unit (ICU) on the night of August 23rd, 2025. Syko Stu was reportedly in a stable but critical condition by the next day.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) was reportedly investigating the matter.[6][7][8] In the livestream, Raja Jackson was seen leaving the scene immediately after and was not apprehended.[1]
KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy's Facebook Post
On August 24th, 2025, KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy shared a Facebook[9] post about the incident, writing, "First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well-being. What was supposed to be a planned and agreed-upon wrestling spot turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith." The post received over 610 reactions and was reshared in several news articles.[8]
Rampage Jackson's Response
On August 24th, 2025, Rampage Jackson, the father of Raja Jackson, shared a tweet on his X[10] / Twitter account, @Rampage4real, writing, "I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith's match. Raja was told that he could get his 'payback' in the ring, I thought it was a part of the show…"
Jackson's tweet received over 21.8 million views and 85,000 likes in a day.
It also received a Community Note that challenged Jackson's claim, reading, "The incident prior to the wrestling match occurred hours – not moments – beforehand. Wrestler "Syko Stu" had already apologized to Raja at least three times. Despite this he entered the ring and punched an unconscious man in the head 22 times before he was overpowered," which cited Yahoo! Sports[11] and clips of Syko Stu apologizing in the livestream shared by X[12] user @agent8100.
