About
Reaper, the character the innovative Overwatch conserved a curious resemblance to a creepypasta Internet, known as Crime Sentence.
Both have a similar look and common powers.
Reaper
He was a soldier who participated in a high-risk mission with another companion, who had disagreements on recognition of his merits in the battles. Both died during the mission, but five years later, a strange figure appeared in one of the recordings from a security camera Helix Security Internation military complex.
The identity and motivation of Reaper are a mystery, no one knows what their true intentions.
Recent reports have on Reaper indicate a pattern that repeats itself, the feeling that is hunting down former members of the Overwatch organization.
Appearance and Reaper powers
• Wears a mask that resembles a goat or ram skull.
• Shotguns Infernal Reaper is armed with two powerful very effective at short distances shotguns. They have a slightly elevated firing rate but is offset by a short recharging time.
• Spectrally Reaper becomes a shadow can cross enemy characters and becoming immune for a short period of time. While in spectral form, Reaper can not attack.
• Passage of Darkness: Reaper teleports to the area you have marked.
• Death Spiral: ELITE Skill Reaper, for a short period of time, Reaper fired their shotguns at high speed automatically attacking all enemies who are close to him spreading death in their wake.
Origin
Might be possible to be inspired by an unofficial character belonging to a creepypasta for conceptual design. Maybe only they have been inspired by Todd McFarlane Spawn and Death of Darksiders are tired of the typical human skull to represent Death….
What do you think? Is it just a coincidence or Blizzard was in crisis inspiration?
The differences that clash with the look and argument of both characters are as follows:
- Reaper does not carry any sword.
- Crime Sentence is not exactly a mercenary.
- Reaper is not immortal permanently. Crime Sentence always is.
- Crime Sentence not wearing a hooded outfit although both wear black.
