Overview
The KrimaDraws Angry Birds Karate Fetish Allegations refers to a series of accusations made by X / Twitter user @Angry_Facts claiming that Angry Birds artist KrimaDraws makes and shares "karate fetish" artwork due to how many of his artworks depict the Angry Birds characters in karate poses and outfits. The allegations were shared in a Google Doc in mid-October 2025 and gained viral spread, with some sharing the opinion that the accusations were baseless and untrue. In response to the Google Doc, KrimaDraws, who is autistic, denied having a karate fetish and claimed instead that he is "hyperfixated" on fight scenes and karate in general, which is why he draws so much karate-based artwork. The accusations notably inspired memes relating to the controversy in the following days.
Background
Allegations
On October 11th, 2025, the Angry Birds gimmick account @angry_facts, which shares facts about the Angry Birds franchise, shared the link to a Google Doc[1] on X[2] that accuses the Angry Birds artist KrimaDraws, most notable for creating the character Ruby, of having a karate fetish and sharing karate fetish artwork of Angry Birds characters. Angry Facts sees this as problematic, since the Angry Birds fanbase consists of a lot of children.
The document shares many examples of drawings by Krima of characters in karate gear and doing high kicks, along with evidence that karate fetishes exist at all. The accuser alleges that some of the characters featured are underage, such as characters from The Loud House. They also write that Krima has retweeted artists who draw adult artworks of Angry Birds characters in karate gear. There is a section focusing on the artwork of Ruby in karate gear. The section concludes, "If Ruby is essentially reflecting Krima as an artist/person, then knowing all of this. She is a fetish character, no way around it."
Many of the responses to the content of the Google Doc were negative.
Developments
KrimaDraws' Response
Later that day, KrimaDraws made a post on X[3] responding to the allegations. In his post, he writes that he does not have a karate fetish, but that his interest in karate is a hyperfixation. He writes:
I have a hyperfixation on fight stuff or fight scenes. Hyperfixation isn't the same as a fetish. I’m not someone who has a fetish for karate or feet, and I find it upsetting that they used one of my underage characters to accuse me of that.
KrimaDraws writes that he admits some of the art, such as art of characters without tops, was "suggestive" but it was all commissioned. He admits he probably shouldn't have accepted them and also admits that he shouldn't have reposted the lewd artist. About Ruby, he writes:
I have a hyperfixation. Ruby is NOT a fetish character. AND here’s an important point: while I did include my interest in martial arts in Ruby, I approach it in a professional way. I don’t try to project my hyperfixation onto a character meant for a franchise aimed at all ages- I'm fully aware of the boundaries that must exist.
Online Reactions
The reactions to the allegations against KrimaDraws were mixed, with many criticizing Angry_Reacts for making the allegations at all.

Later that day, X[5] user @bagofcobbles posted a drawing of Red with a black belt in his mouth, writing, "This bird HATES karate for a stupid reason," garnering over 1,400 likes in a day.
