Following the announcement, many reacted to the upcoming event with tweets and memes. For instance, many made memes about Paul losing the fight, like X[5] user @vinhlegacy on March 7th, 2024, who posted Chopper from One Piece looking beaten up, captioned, "Jake Paul after the 1 round," gaining over 300 likes in an hour (shown below, left).
