Overview
Indonesian Party Congress Riot refers to a viral image of a fight that took place at a meeting of the Indonesian Party named Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) at Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia. The congress came to riot after some participants began mocking each other, escalating to the point where they were throwing chairs. After that incident, many Indonesians creates memes about the moment riot.
Background
On February 11th, 2020, Indonesian media outlet Detik[1] uploaded many photos that captured the moment when the riot broke out on Facebook. The post received more than 21,000 reactions and 10,000 comments[1] (shown below).
According to another Indonesian media outlet Suara, the riot happened because some participants of the congress were protesting over the confusion of who was and was not allowed to participate with the party, as the Steering Committee of the congress had yet to resolve an issue about whether the SDA could participate in the congress.[2]

After the inceident, many Indonesian users creating memes about the riot. For example, on the same day, Facebook user Erwanda Hidayat created a Fake History memes using the photo. The post received 130 reactions (shown below, left).[3] Another Facebook user Sefira Nurzain created a Fibonacci or The Golden Ratio meme using the photo. The post received 330 reactions[4] (shown below, right).
