Overview

Four Seasons Total Landscaping Press Conference refers to a press conference which was held by the Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign at the parking lot of Four Seasons Total Landscaping company. The unusual choice of venue was allegedly a result of a mix-up, although whether it indeed was an accident has not been confirmed. Following the press conference, the apparent gaffe became a trending subject of discussions and memes online.

Background

On November 7th, 2020, following the 2020 United States Presidential Election, the United States President Donald Trump tweeted[1] that later that day a press conference would be held in Philadelphia at Four Seasons Total Landscaping, a landscaping company (tweet shown below, left). Eight minutes prior, Donald Trump tweeted[2] that the conference would take place at the Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia, later deleting the tweet. The Donald Trump presidential campaign did not clarify whether the booking of the venue was accidental.

Following the tweet, multiple news outlets, including Mirror,[2] reported on the tweet and the implied mistake made by the Donald Trump campaign. Later on the same day, the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia tweeted[3] that the event would indeed take place at the aforementioned location and not at the hotel (tweet shown below).
