Overview

The Chris-Chan Child Rumor refers to Lolcow Christine Weston Chandler, also known as Chris-Chan, claiming that she was going to have a kid during a November 2024 livestream. Viewers speculated that her Finnish girlfriend Flutter was pregnant. This implied that Chris-Chan was having a baby with Flutter who would be born in 2025. On November 24th, 2024, Chris-Chan was streaming a Sonic X Shadow Generations speedrun on YouTube.^[1] An 18-second clip of the stream was uploaded by a viewer in which Chris-Chan said that she wanted to keep people "in the dark … and wait until after the child is born" (shown below).

On November 24th, Kiwi Farms^[2] user Zeus Blue Thunder shared the clip to a forum about Chris-Chan's girlfriend Flutter. The user wrote, "I have no idea where this question even came from or what Chris is talking about, but… Chris expects a child this summer" (shown below).

On November 24th, 2024, X^[3] user @KiwiFarmsDotNet tweeted the clip and linked to the Kiwi Farms^[3] thread, receiving over 3.4 million views and 7,100 likes in a day (shown below).
