He also claims Lil Nas X is "disrespectful" for the performance, particularly for exposing children to it and defends rapper DaBaby, who was called out for homophobic remarks at a concert around the same time.

Boosie's Response To Lil Nas X's Pregnancy Photoshoot

On September 2nd, 2021, Lil Nas X posted a series of photographs to Twitter^[1] showing him looking realistically pregnant and wearing a flower crown. On September 3rd, Boosie tweeted, "NAS X WTF U JUST DONT STOP 😡I THINK HES GOING TO TURN AROUND N SUCK ONE OF HIS BACK GROUND DANCERS DICK ON NATIONAL TV #protectyours #godturninoverinhisgrave" (shown below).

Nas X responded to the tweet by saying "i apologize mr. boosie. i left a really detailed apology in the link below," followed by a link to pre-save his debut album Montero (shown below).

Boosie's Response To Lil Nas X's Instagram Live Joke

On October 22nd, 2021, Lil Nas X went live on Instagram where he joked that he and Boosie Badazz have a song coming out together, joking about the fact that they have a feud (shown below).^[4]

The tweet has since been deleted (shown below).

On the same date, Nas X tweeted,^[3] "i am truly saddened. i have never been so mortified in my life. i can’t believe disney channel has yet to play halloween town this entire October," making it seem as if he was responding to Boosie, gaining over 222,000 likes and 14,000 retweets in five days. Boosie went on Instagram Live in the following days to respond to Nas X, defending what he said (shown below).

On October 26th, Lil Nas X's dad responded to Boosie via an Instagram Story, calling him out for saying he's "for the kids" despite rapping about gang-related and criminal activity (shown below).^[5] On the same day, Boosie responded in a tweet^[6] reading, "DONT GET MAD AT ME CAUSE YOUR SON CAME OUT LIKE THAT LOL 🤷‍♂️ I KNOW IT HURTS" gaining over 6,100 likes in two days.

Nas X's brother came to his defense on Twitter on October 27th in a series of tweets making fun of Boosie for being a less successful rapper than Nas X, specifically saying his brother is on his way to being a billionaire (shown below, left and right).

On October 23rd, Twitter user @blaccbrry_ posted a GIF of Flats the Flounder repeatedly punching SpongeBob but having no effect with the text "This is literally Boosie vs Lil Nas X," implying Boosie hasn't hurt Nas X at all, gaining over 56,000 likes and 10,000 retweets in five days (shown below).

Boosie received mixed support and criticism on 4chan,^[6] including in an October 24th thread to /pol/ sharing allegations that Boosie paid for a prostitute for his 12-year-old son where a number of users called him "based" although some replies are assumedly ironic. Some users began joking that Boosie is gay and in the closet, offering a potential reason for him repeatedly harassing Lil Nas X online.
