Discord

Messaging app Discord announced^[6] that it will be adding lootboxes to the app. The announcement video (shown below) accidentally set a YouTube record by garnering over 1.4 billion views in 24 hours as Discord embedded the video into their in-app pop-up message, and the video, while hidden, played on loop for hours for multiple users.^[7]
