About

2022 Bangalore, India Floods refers to massive torrential rains and flooding that took place in Bangalore, India in late 2022. The city of Bangalore routinely faced issues with rainfall and faulty drainage systems in the years leading up to 2022, with the city's "Silicon Valley" area and various gated communities being among the worst impacted by the rains in August and September 2022. Internet users took to making jokes about the floods, pointing toward the notion that Bangalore has "the best weather" in India, and the fact that the city has experienced massive migrations due to its tech sector in recent years.
