Enoch J TikTok Duets refers to a TikTok trend of Dueting TikToker Enoch J (@enochj_) who posts videos of himself talking in his car about objectively horny scenarios that involve women, seduction and licking of the lips. The Duet trend started in mid-2021 when users found his content cringe and creepy. In mid-2022, Enoch J posted a video that led with "What Would You Do If You Saw Me At The Red Light And I Honked My Horn At You?" inspiring an avant-garde trend of people replacing Enoch J's eyes, mouth and other body parts in subsequent Duets similar to Monkey Haircut edits.

On June 23rd, 2021, TikToker^[1] enochj_ posted a selfie video of himself in the car telling to the camera a scenario wherein he's your waiter at a restaurant and he's flirting with you. The TikTok received roughly 3.6 million plays and 262,400 likes in one year (shown below, left). Later on June 23rd, 2021, TikToker^[2] jaethebrand posted a duet with enochj_'s video, humorously rejecting him and highlighting the cringe apparent in the video. Over the course of one year, the video received roughly 1.9 million plays and 356,900 likes (shown below, right).

"There's A Difference Between Love And Lust"

Enochj_'s June 2021 TikTok continued to be dueted going into the rest of 2021.^[3] However, in August 2021, a TikTok^[4] that enochj_ posted on May 22nd, 2021 started to be dueted, most likely inspired by the traction his June 2021 duets were receiving. This began with a duet posted on August 7th, 2021, by TikToker^[5] winterrtek who showed humorous disbelief at the "look" Enoch J gave for "love." The duet received roughly 2.4 million plays and 709,500 likes in 11 months (shown below, left). On August 17th, 2021, TikToker^[6] sopdhe mimicked and lip-dubbed the enochj_ TikTok,^[4] earning roughly 1.9 million plays and 551,400 likes in 11 months (shown below, right).

"What Would You Do If You Saw Me At The Red Light And I Honked My Horn At You?"

On July 3rd, 2022, TikToker^[7] enochj_ posted a video titled "Eye contact 👀," wherein, he posed another pick-up scenario to the camera, this time about making eye contact at a red light and saying, "What's up, baby girl?" Over the course of 12 days, the video received roughly 13 million plays and 687,100 likes (shown below).

What would you do if you saw me at the red light and I honked my horn at you… And we made eye contact… And I said to you, "What's up baby girl?" What would you say?

On July 5th, 2022, TikToker^[8] domiana4ever posted a duet with the aforementioned TikTok, wherein, she drew enochj_'s facial hair onto her face and then lip-dubbed his video, earning roughly 303,300 plays and 50,200 likes in ten days (shown below, left). On July 6th, TikToker^[9] iwanttodomitski recreated this, earning roughly 2.2 million plays and 404,500 likes in nine days (shown below, right).

On July 9th, 2022, multiple TikTokers uploaded stitches with enochj_'s video, wherein, they replaced the top half of his face with theirs, leaving only enochj_'s mouth and lips that he was very expressive with. A likely originator out of all the creators on July 9th was TikToker^[10] mortysays, whose video received roughly 120,200 plays and 17,000 likes in six days (shown below, left). However, also on July 9th, TikToker^[11] blonde.girlyy posted a similar stitch that received roughly 13.4 million plays and 3.1 million likes in six days (shown below, right).

Ultimately, however, it was TikToker^[12] hunkyhandsome's version uploaded on July 9th that received the most amount of secondary dueting. Their video earned roughly 764,300 plays and 88,900 likes in six days (shown below, left). Then, it was dueted by TikToker^[13] kinkinkinaroo on July 11th, 2022, who added in their hand movements and earned roughly 775,200 plays and 90,300 likes in four days (shown below, center). The duet thread spread all the way to July 13th in a video posted by TikToker^[14] mason_alderson, earning roughly 1.7 million plays and 311,100 likes in two days (shown below, right).
