About
The Emerald City Route Artist or ECRA for short is a nickname proposed to the NFL Seattle Seahawks' wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (JSN) by Stay Hot podcast host Blaiden Kirk. The nickname originates from the Stay Hot group chat, where it was an inside joke among the community ("Emerald City" referring to the nickname for Seattle).
In early February 2026, a video went viral of Kirk suggesting the nickname to JSN during a Super Bowl media week press junket. The video inspired reactions and memes on sites including TikTok and X / Twitter, many of which poke fun at the length of the nickname.
