Em Em Dance is a series of TikTok videos in which users lip dub the intro verse to the 2018 hip-hop song "All In" by ZaeHD & CEO while reacting to pictures of celebrity crushes.

Origin

On October 17th, 2018, the American hip-hop group ZaeHD & CEO released a music video for their song "All In" (shown below). The video gained over two million views and 56,000 likes in five months.

That winter, @kingk3z uploaded a clip of the song to TikTok naming it "♫ Keezy – Em Em Dance" which has been used over 1.8 million times as of February 6th, 2019. @kingk3z posted a video of himself dancing to the song outside, which became the first use of the clip on TikTok (shown below).

Spread

On December 29th, 2018, Tommy Michelle uploaded the first Em Em Dance parody to YouTube. The video gained over 5,000 views in one month (shown below, left). On January 6th, 2019, Mad Viral TV uploaded the first compilation video to YouTube which gained 800 views in a month (shown below, right).

On January 6th, TikTok Point uploaded a compilation featuring parodies in with users react to celebrity crushes (shown below). The video gained over 3,000 views over the next month.
