"Eat Your Vegetables" Remix refers to a remix of a clip of vegan influencer That Vegan Teacher yelling "eat your vegetables" mixed with $uicideboy$ 2020 song "…And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around." The remix was first posted to TikTok in September 2021 and went viral that month in lip-dub, dance and skit videos.

Origin

On September 17th, 2021, TikToker^[1] @sulfateoctagon posted a video clip of controversial influencer That Vegan Teacher, who was removed from TikTok, yelling into the camera in a high pitch voice while eating lettuce, "eat your vegetables" then transitioning into $uicideboy$' 2020 song "…And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around" with a video clip of a Grand Theft Auto character ascending into the sky and spinning (shown below). The video gained over 23.6 million views in seven days. The original video is also available on YouTube.^[2]

The original sound for @sulfateoctagon's video became very popular over the next week, inspiring over 123,000 videos by September 24th, 2021, including lip-dubs, skits and dance videos. On September 20th, TikToker^[3] @rustcafe.gg posted a video building a miniature Rust turret using the sound, gaining over 5.5 million views in four days (shown below, left). On September 21st, TikToker^[4] @gushy2000 posted a video lip-dubbing to That Vegan Teacher's part then dancing, disappearing suddenly when the lyrics "I'll be gone" play, gaining over 11 million views in three days (shown below, right).

On September 22nd, TikTokers^[5][6] @elinayael_ and @etiennenajman posted viral videos using the sound, gaining over 4.2 million and 7.2 million views, respectively, in two days (shown below, left and right).

On the same day, YouTuber^[7] All about BEEBO 2 posted an extended version of the remix where the song continues longer, gaining over 17,000 views in two days (shown below).
