E͓̽k͓̽ ͓̽h͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽g͓̽r͓̽o͓̽o͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽v͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽b͓̽a͓̽l͓̽l͓̽e͓̽, or Ek Het Groot Vet Balle, is troll Twitter prompt meant to elicit a response from people on the platform, parodying Sco Pa Tu Mana and Bomboclaat. The phrase, however, actually means "I have big fat balls."

Origin

On November 25th, 2019, Twitter ^[1] user @SB2749 tweeted, "we should make up a new funny phrase to fool the people making the scope your mama and bombocat posts" (shown below).

That day, they tweeted^[2] "E͓̽k͓̽ ͓̽h͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽g͓̽r͓̽o͓̽o͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽v͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽b͓̽a͓̽l͓̽l͓̽e͓̽" with two photographs of Joey from the TV show Friends (shown below).

Spread

Over the next few days, others began sharing the phrase as part of the gag (examples, below, left and center).

Others compained about the meme. Twitter^[3] user @Chrisoboyo tweeted, "Of course people started "ironically" saying 'E͓̽k͓̽ ͓̽h͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽g͓̽r͓̽o͓̽o͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽v͓̽e͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽b͓̽a͓̽l͓̽l͓̽e͓̽?' To make fun of people saying "scone pantru mantra" but only ended up being just as if not more annoying than whoever they were making fun of" (shown below, right).
