"Dude, How Do You Feel?" is a series of video remixes of a scene from the American animated television series Regular Show. The scene features the character Mordecai asking Rigby, "Dude, how do you feel?" Online, people replace Rigby's response with different audio.

Origin

On November 15th, 2010, the episode of Regular Show, entitled "Rigby's Body," premiered in the United States. In the episode, Mordecai asks Rigby how he feels, and Rigby starts screaming, a sure sign that his body really is in horrible shape.^[1]

Spread

Among the earliest known remixes of the meme, a video posted on September 11th, 2016 by YouTuber Sleepy Angel Artist featured the scene, replacing the scream with a distorted variation of the Windows start-up theme music. the post (shown below, left) received more than 7,000 views in two years.

Two years later, on August 3rd, 2018, YouTuber Trending Vid published a compilation of various versions of the meme. The post (shown below, right) received more than 147,000 views in six days.
