Drooling Feral Hog refers to a series of ironic memes on TikTok featuring an image of a hog looking directly at the camera while pig noises play in the background. The video has been used in various meme templates as a nonsensical punchline.

On May 24th, 2024, TikToker^[1] @nopantsgang posted a TikTok in which a hog, dubbed "Drooling Feral Hog," looks as though they are calling the viewer's phone. The video gained over 116,000 likes in six days (shown below).

Spread

The video quickly inspired ironic meme edits that made the "drooling feral hog" the nonsensical punchline of other templates. For example, on May 26th, TikToker^[3] @naloacaolan posted a slang overload edit with the hog, gaining over 38,000 likes in four days (shown below, left). On May 28th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @shinzoabefan posted a "what boys want / what men want" parody with the hog as the punchline, gaining over 190,000 likes in two days (shown below, right).
