"Dream On" Kid, also known as British Kid Singing "Dream On" or Mischiviator Sings "Dream On," is a viral video of TikToker Mischiviator singing "Dream On" by Aerosmith while playing Fortnite. The video was uploaded to TikTok in early November 2022 and went viral over the following month along with a version adding the instrumentals for the song under Mischiviator's voice. In December, Mischiviator was removed from TikTok and he started a new account where he reuploaded the video.

Origin

Around November 6th, 2022, TikToker @mischiviator posted a video responding to a comment asking him to sing "Dream On." In the video, he sings "Dream On" while in front of a TV displaying Fortnite. The original video has been deleted but was reuploaded to YouTube^[1] that day, garnering over 37,000 views in a month (shown below). Although the original upload was deleted, the original sound^[2] and its videos remain, boasting over 4,800 uses by mid-December 2022.

On an unknown date in early November 2022, now-deleted TikToker^[3] @g0rno posted a remixed version of the song adding the original instrumentation under Mischiviator's voice. The original sound was used over 11,000 times by December 14th, 2022 (notable videos using the sound shown below). The full remix was also uploaded to YouTube^[4] on November 13th, garnering over 174,000 views in a month.

On November 14th, 2022, Young Money Clan posted a video to TikTok^[5] using the original version of the song, garnering over 232,000 views in a month (shown below). Mischiviator was banned in December. On December 2nd, Mischiviator reposted the "Dream On" video to his new TikTok^[6] account, @mischiviator2, garnering over 5 million views in two weeks. On December 3rd, Young Money Clan posted a video to TIkTok^[7] sharing their frustrations over Mischiviator's first account being banned, demanding he be allowed back on the platform, garnering over 98,000 views in two weeks.
