Drawn Together's Train and Tunnel Scene or Tren Y Túnel refers to a series of parodies and remixes of a scene from the Comedy Central adult cartoon Drawn Together in which a train is forcibly trying to fit into a tunnel, used as an innuendo for a gay sex scene. The scene became popularized as a GIF on Reddit and Twitter around February 2013.

Origin

On February 3rd, 2013, Reddit^[1] user uploaded a GIF titled "Trying anal for the first time," showing a scene from the Comedy Central adult cartoon Drawn Together. The post garnered 492 upvotes and 32 comments in a decade (seen below).

The full scene was uploaded on YouTube^[2] by user Dantefilth9999999999 on January 23rd, 2014. The video (seen below) received 301,000 views and 2,700 likes in nine years.

Spread

The scene is often used as a GIF to represent anal sex-related jokes on social media. For instance, on July 5th, 2018, Tenor^[3] user @eddtoro642 uploaded a GIF (seen below) of the train and tunnel scene overlayed with the lyrics of the song "Te Va a Doler."

On March 17th, 2017, Redditor^[4] u/wtfact posted the train and tunnel GIF accompanied by images of couples with a big height difference. The post (seen below) received 23 upvotes and nine comments in six years.
