Drake’s Alter-Ego or Anita Max Wynn refers to a quote said by Canadian rapper Drake during a Kick livestream in mid-December 2023. The alter-ego was inspired by his love of gambling, which can be translated as “I need a max win” in gambling terms. The livestream clip was the subject of memes and it was turned into a viral TikTok sound in which users would lip sync to Drake’s saying Anitta Max Wynn in a Spanish-sounding accent.
Origin
On December 18th, 2023, Canadian rapper Drake introduced his alter-ego in a Kick livestream for his partnership with the gambling company Stake. The rapper showed a cap with the name “Anitta Max Wynn,” which he explained is inspired by his love of gambling (shown below). The clip was later reposted on YouTube[1] by user Manny Wave, garnering roughly 3,000 views and 67 likes in two days.

On December 20th, 2023, TikTok[2] user @musa_.a posted a "Why you so quiet? What's on your mind?" meme in which Drake's clip appears inside the image (shown below, left), amassing more than 2.5 million plays and 580,000 likes in a day. On the same day, TikTok[3] user @sarakadriii posted a video of her in bed repeating Drake's alter-ego name "Anita Max Wynn." The video (shown below, right) received over 1.7 million plays and 375,000 likes in a day.
