Double Soda Pour refers to an image of a person pressing buttons for two sodas at a soda fountain, which both go into a giant cup. The image became an object labeling exploitable illustrating contradictory emotions or actions people engage in.
Origin
The earliest known usage of the image was posted on December 7th, 2018 by Redditor [2] Blazeman_25 on the /r/pics subreddit. In less than two months, the image received more than 20 points (76% upvoted) (shown below).

Spread
Two days later, on December 9th, it was posted on the /r/firstworldanarchy subreddit,[1] where it gained over 4,700 points (shown below).
A week later, on December 19th, 2018, an object labeling edit about Fallout players appeared on /r/MemeEconomy, gaining over 70 points (shown below, left). A December 21st post on /r/funny taken from the Instagram account @white_trash_hipster gained over 2,400 points (shown below, right).
The format was also very popular on Instagram. There, popular examples include a post by memetides referencing Take Me Home Country Roads that gained over 590 likes (shown below, left) and a post by i_have_no_memes96_v2 that gained over 154,000 likes (shown below, right).
