About
Doro Party À Châtelet Avec Mercredi Addams, also known as Doro Party at Châtelet with Wednesday Addams in English, refers to a series of French language memes about a "doro party," a French slang term for an orgy, occurring at Châtelet, a public square in Paris, France. The joke started in early October 2025, when a French Wednesday Addams cosplayer, Mercredi Addams, was asked about going to a doro party at Châtelet by a viewer on a TikTok LIVE. She was seen trying not to laugh in the clip, which was compared to the IShowSpeed Trying Not To Laugh meme.
Origin
On October 5th, 2025, TikToker[1] @srah.yy7 shared a screen-recording of a TikTok LIVE hosted by TikToker[2] @wenesdeyaddams24, in which she was dressed as the character Wednesday Addams (Mercredi Addams in French) from The Addams Family and Wednesday (portrayed by actress Jenna Ortega in the latter).
In the clip, @wenesdeyaddams24 invites a viewer onto the LIVE's voice call and she asks her if she wants to collaborate on a "doro party" at Châtelet, a public square in Paris, France. According to TikToker[3] @keonii_ in an explainer video on the subject, the point of the LIVE was to make @wenesdeyaddams24 laugh. In the clip, she's seen trying not to laugh and then she moves her face off-screen to break character.
A "doro party" is a French slang term for "an evening where participants have sexual relations with each other, in complete freedom," according to Dictionnaire Orthodidacte.[4]
