About
Ruby Dancing refers to a looped animation trend inspired by a dance move performed by Ruby Hoshino from Oshi no Ko. The character does a dance where she taps her cheek with her other arm held out in the opening credits of the anime's second season, with Oshi no Ko posting a transparent GIF version of the scene on X in early September 2024. The GIF inspired the Doodle Dance animation redraw trend featuring different characters doing the dance, with a GIF of Kita from Bocchi the Rock going viral in late September 2024.
