Don't Get On Here Rapping or Don't Get On Here Rappin', I'm Stackin', Makin' It Happen refers to a 2021 video of a girl on an Instagram Live stream asking an invited second person to not start rapping, followed by them freestyle rapping. The video gained popularity over the course of the year, resulting in a number of video edits set to it and lip-dub skits on TikTok in mid-August 2021.

Origin

On January 5th, 2021, TikToker^[1] @myahwts posted a video taken from an Instagram Live stream where she pleads with a second invited person, who is hidden in shadows on the lower half of the screen. She says, "Don't get on here rapping. Do not get on here rapping, I will kick you off so fast." The second person then raps, "Don't get on here rappin', I'm stackin', makin' it happen." He then says, "Ooh hoo, let me keep going," and continues to rap as she listens. Near the end of the rap, he says, "Head shaped like a deer," making @myahwts laugh. The video gained over 96,000 views in eight months.

On March 13th, 2021, TikToker^[4] @doinkalicious reposted the video with additional on-screen text reading, "rappers who should've went platinum," gaining over 1.3 million views in six months. On March 27th, animator snibsnobs posted a video to Twitter^[2] and YouTube^[3] animating an interaction between Lammy and Parappa from Parappa the Rapper over the audio, gaining over 22,000 likes and 7,400 retweets on the former and 19,980 views on the latter in six months (shown below).

In mid-August, the original sound from @doinkalicious' upload saw an increase in use in lip-dub videos. For example, on August 14th, TikToker^[5] @poloboy posted a lip-dub skit using the sound, gaining over 1.7 million views in just under a month (shown below, left). On August 18th, TikToker^[6] @2littyjayz posted a similar lip-dub skit, gaining over 3.4 million views in three weeks (shown below, right).

On August 19th, TikToker^[7] @diegerin reuploaded the video again, gaining over 2.6 million views in three weeks and creating another popular original sound for it. On September 7th, TikToker^[8] @jakesouroop posted a lip-dub video to the sound, gaining over 315,000 views in two days (shown below).

On August 24th, rapper and TikToker @jordanpoursfanta posted a video to YouTube^[9] and TikTok^[10] of an original rap song and beat using the audio as a sample, gaining over 7,800 views on the former and 325,000 on the latter in just over two weeks (shown below).
