Do Not Fuck With Gamers, also known as Don't Fuck With Gamers, is a copypasta inspired by a viral Twitter / X post by former video game executive and user @Grummz, also known as Mark Kern, reading, "Do not fuck with gamers. We're forged by endless boss battles against impossible odds. We do not give up. We do not stop. We are the terminators of the culture wars." The post was made in late February 2025 and became the subject of memes and mockery shortly after, with many finding the tweet cringeworthy for trying to come off tough.

Origin

On February 24th, 2025, X[1] user @Grummz (Mark Kern), a GamerGate supporter and former video game executive who worked at Blizzard Entertainment, posted, "Do not fuck with gamers. We're forged by endless boss battles against impossible odds. We do not give up. We do not stop. We are the terminators of the culture wars," garnering over 25 million views, 21,000 likes and 6,500 reposts in two days.

The post became the subject of memes and discourse over the following days, with many finding it cringe.

For example, on February 24th, 2025, X[2] user @brndxix responded to the post with the Daredevil Dog reaction video, garnering over 30,000 likes in two days.

Later that day, X[3] user @DeMickyD responded to it with a meme attributing the quote to Yagrum Bagarn from The Elder Scrolls video game Morrowind, garnering over 16,000 likes in the same span of time.

On February 25th, Twitch streamer Hasan Piker quoted[4] the post, writing, "I can’t believe this is a real tweet from a man who’s about to be 60 years old! people used to feel shame! this mf literally did the 'I studied the blade' unironically," garnering over 38,000 likes in a day.

Later, X[5] user @_White_Noiz then posted an altered version of the copypasta referencing several people, including Elon Musk, garnering over 3,000 likes in a day. Later on February 25th, the X[6] account @HardDriveMag posted a version of the copypasta that gained over 25,000 likes in a day.

Also on February 25th, 2025, X[7] user @BeardsonBeardly quoted Hasan Piker's post to criticize Piker for coming at Grummz's age, sharing a photo of Hasan wearing a cat maid costume in Japan, writing, "brother you’re 33 and doing this," garnering over 40,000 likes in a day.
