The image features DJ Khaled with gray hair and an unkempt beard which was different from his normal look outside of quarantine. The image caused many Twitter users to comment on Khaled's looks.

On April 12th, 2020, DJ Khaled posted a picture of himself and his two children to Instagram^[1] (shown below). The post garnered over 357,500 likes in three days.

Spread

On April 12th, 2020, Twitter user @YodaDaBaby^[2] reposted a close-up of the image with the caption "DJ Khaled out here looking like he's been quarantined in Guantanamo Bay" (shown below, left). The tweet received over 4,100 likes and 900 retweets in three days. The next day, Twitter user @willyonce99^[3] captioned before and after pictures of DJ Khaled with "DJ Khaled went from 'We da best' to 'We depressed'" (shown below, right). The tweet accumulated over 365,400 likes and 85,900 retweets in two days.

On April 13th, Twitter user @Y2SHAF^[4] tweeted, "dj khaled is a visual representation of what 2020 has done to humanity" and received over 73,900 likes and 15,200 retweets in two days (shown below, left). That same day, DJ Khaled responded to the memes by posting to Instagram^[5] promising that he'll get a haircut soon (shown below, right).
