On September 5th, 2022, the cast of Don't Worry Darling promoted their film at the 79th Venice International Film Festival (Venezia79).[1] During the event, Chris Pine was a part of a panel to talk about the film's production. At approximately 6:30 a.m. EST, Twitter[2] user kylebuchanan tweeted a screenshot of Pine behind his name tag at the panel, captioning it, "This is a lotta look for Chris Pine," earning roughly 1,900 likes in four days (shown below).

Within an hour of kylebuchanan's tweet on September 5th, 2022, the image of Pine along with others taken during the press conference surfaced on Twitter in a memetic context. For instance, minutes after kylebuchanan's tweet, Twitter[3] user sweetsatelIite compared Pine at the press conference to The Hunger Games character Haymitch Abernathy played by Woody Harrelson, earning roughly 144,600 likes in four days (shown below).



Minutes after sweetsatelIite's tweet, Twitter[4] user jenikamei then captioned the Miley Cyrus' Blue Eyes image with, "chris pine on the panel:" earning roughly 9,800 likes in four days (shown below, left). An hour later on September 5th, Twitter[5] user katehalliwell captioned the one photo of Pine with, "me filling the room with negative energy bc i don’t wanna be there," and earned roughly 255,100 likes in four days (shown below, right).



Roughly two hours later on September 5th, 2022, Twitter[6] user fiImgal tweeted four photos of Chris Pine at the panel, captioning them, "somebody get chris pine outta there." Over the course of four days, the tweet received roughly 50,900 likes (shown below). Thereafter, multiple iterations surfaced using variations of the same four images.
