About

Diddy's Freak Offs refers to an official phrase used in an unsealed federal indictment against rapper and record executive Sean "Diddy" Combs in mid-September 2024. The phrase was used to describe highly orchestrated and multi-day sexual events allegedly organized by the rapper. According to the documents, Diddy would coerce and drug his victims into participating in elaborate sex acts with male commercial sex workers, which he himself called "Freak Offs." The unsealed indictment also mentioned how law enforcement seized various "Freak Off" supplies during their raids on Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles homes, including narcotics, guns and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant. The use of the phrase "Freak Offs" in an official federal indictment spawned shocked reactions and memes in mid-September 2024 as it became a slang term online.

Origin

On September 17th, 2024, soon after P. Diddy's arrest, the New York State District Court, Southern District of New York unsealed documents related to rapper and record executive Diddy's indictment on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and prostitution.

The 14-page indictment delved into Diddy's alleged crimes, which included him orchestrating elaborate, highly orchestrated and multi-day events he called "Freak Offs," during which he would routinely drug and coerce his victims into participating in sexual acts with male commercial sex workers. These acts were so physically strenuous on his victims that they often had to be given IV drips to recuperate. The relevant sections of the indictment are shown below.[1]

The United States Attorney's Office of Southern New York also issued a press conference on September 17th, 2024, where Attorney Damian Williams mentioned the phrase "Freak Offs" five times (YouTube[2] clip shown below).
