Dhar Mann Rip-Offs But Skeleton Meme refers to a series of videos on YouTube where the Berserk Skeletons meme is added throughout videos, usually by the channel Totally Studios, that rip-off the style of Dhar Mann's motivational and anti-bullying videos. YouTuber Swaqy began the trend in May 2022, inspiring other YouTubers to make similar videos that June.
Origin
On May 23rd, 2022, YouTuber[1] Swaqy posted a version of the Totally Studios video, "HOT Nanny Buys Disabled Kid BEER! Then this Happens… | SAMEER BHAVNANI"[2] where the video is constantly interjected with the Berserk Skeletons meme and captions making fun of what's happening on-screen, gaining over 949,000 views in a month (shown below).
Spread
On June 17th, 2022, YouTuber[3] Swaqy posted a second video following the same premise, using the Totally Studios video, "Kid FAKES Dying to SKIP School. Does He Get Caught?,"[4] garnering over 470,000 views in just under two weeks (shown below, left). After this upload, other YouTubers began making similar videos. For example, on June 20th, YouTuber[5] FaZe Nxmb posted a video where the skeletons interrupt the Totally Studios video,[6] "Karen FLUSHES IPHONE on a Plane. And she BANS PHONES in School. Surprise Ending," gaining over 591,000 views in a week (shown below, right).
On June 25th, YouTuber[7] Luma posted a version of the meme using the Totally Studios video, "KID STEALS PlayStation 5 from Store. What Happens with Surprise Ending?,"[8] garnering over 237,000 views in three days (shown below).

Berserk Skeletons, also known as Hater Skeletons and You Should Have Died, refers to a clip of red-colored skeletons from a nightmare sequence in the 1997 anime adaptation of Berserk. Used as a reaction since at least 2014, in March 2022, the clip (usually combined with the song "Smoke" by Cowbell Cult) gained virality as a reaction to disliked or cringeworthy content on TikTok or elsewhere.
