Devil Fruity Loops refers to a viral video of American rapper Southside calling the Apple Mac's version of Fruity Loops Studio "the devil Fruity Loops" and claiming it's not the same as the PC Windows version. The clip is taken from a 2022 episode of the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast and went viral on TikTok in March 2025 as the subject of edits. The memes were started by TikToker @ilytumor.

Origin

On July 10th, 2022, the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game YouTube^[1] podcast published an interview with rapper Southside, garnering over 367,000 views in three years. On July 14th, the ProducerGrind Clips YouTube^[2] channel uploaded a clip from the podcast of Southside talking about how the Mac version of Fruity Loops doesn't "sound the same" as the PC version, captioned, "SOUTHSIDE: FL Studio on Mac doesn't sound the same as on a PC," calling it the "devil Fruity Loops," garnering over 860,000 views in the same span of time.

On March 8th, 2025, TikToker^[3] @ilytumor posted an edit of the clip that makes most of the video black-and-white and adds blue fire to the foreground, garnering over 15,000 views in a week. This is the earliest known edit of the clip.

The same TikToker continued to post edits of the clip over the following days, with some garnering significant attention. They also began posting memes referencing the clip.

For example, on March 11th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @ilytumor posted an edit that gained over 185,000 views in six days. On March 12th, X^[5] user @wentbanoodlez posted a reference to the clip.

Also on March 12th, 2025, TikToker^[6] @ilytumor posted an edit in which a Five Nights at Freddy's mask has been put over Southside, garnering over 180,000 views in a week.
